Eva showcased a small polymer sculpture inspired by a catcher of drops; a tissue. In contrast to the scale of other exhibited works Eva’s sculpture was a more subtle work and naturally became a hidden gem for viewers to discover on the balcony.
Eva Otsing is a visual artist born and raised in Estonia, studied in London and currently living in Fitzroy. She has an honours degree in Film Studies and has created visual content for Sydney Opera House, National Gallery of Victoria, Dark Mofo and all of her friends. In her personal practice, Eva works with themes of heartbreak, grief, queerness and humour. Supernaculum was Eva’s first foray into three dimensional art.
