This was JAW’s debut painting exhibition. Originally a dancer, his visual arts practice looks at shifting our perspective on our position in the world through powerful images throughout history. JAW uses his extensive travel as a dominant influence in his work; “Through the places and lives I've shed, art has been in my life since the beginning and I'm happy to arrive here today to this place and step into this skin.”

“Our reality has a specific relationship with our internal wiring. We all see the world through the same fundamental spectrum. Day is day, night is night. Shadows are dark and light is bright. We are naturally drawn to the blues, greens and golds of our planet. What would the world look like if these tones were opposite, would it be different? Or would the flaws, imperfection and perfect perfections still lead us to our conclusion.” JAW
